Capoeira Foundation celebrates Brazil’s Independence Day

In celebrating Brazils Independence day, students and friends of the SA Capoeira Foundation had the pleasure of watching one of Brazil's foremost female artists and a voice of the Lapa bohemian district of Rio de Janeiro, Teresa Cristina.
The Foundation prides itself on being able to be a conduit in the transmission of Brazilian culture and this was a great opportunity to immerse the students in the beauty that is Samba.

O mestre Estivador da Fundação Sul Africana de capoeira ao longo dos anos vem tentando ajudar e desenvolver varias atividades nas comunidades de baixa renda da África do Sul no combate contra o racismo e xenofobia . As atividades serão demonstradas através de manifestações culturais mais um ano no Carnaval, dia 3 de Setembro de 2011.
